Acting on the instruction of the Chief Minister without losing any time, Uttar Pradesh police has lodged cases against several cooperative functionaries in the recruitment scam of cooperative employees during the Samajwadi Party regime in the state.
Those against whom case has been registered include the then MDs of Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Bank Limited, Hiralal Yadav and Ravikant Singh; former UP Cooperative Institutional Service Board chairman Ramjatan Yadav; secretary Rakesh Mishra; member Santosh Kumar Srivastava; and computer agency operator Ram Pravesh Yadav.
It is said ‘unnamed’ officials of UP Cooperative Bank and UP Cooperative institutional service board have been mentioned in the FIR.
