The Yogi Adityanath- led government in Uttar Pradesh has always raised questions on the illegal recruitment done in cooperatives during the Samajwadi Party regime but now in his government the results of the applicants who had given interviews for the promotion as Deputy General Managers have been leaked, before the official announcement.

A copy of leaked results’ list is also with Indian Cooperative.

Senior branch managers deployed in different district central cooperative banks including Muzaffarnagar, Bulandshahr, Kanpur, Lakhimpur, Meerut and others of Uttar Pradesh had applied for the promotion as the Deputy General Managers in UP State Cooperative Bank and for selecting the candidates the interview process was started in July and lasted till 19 August.

The three member selection committee in which Additional Commissioner and Additional Registrar cooperative/Additional Secretary Narad Yadav is the Member Convener whereas UP Co-operative Bank, General Manager (Finance) K D Pathak and Deputy Commissioner and Deputy Registrar (Banking) Cooperatives, Ashok Kumar are its members.

It is being reported that the selection committee handed over the list of passed employees to Bhupendra Kumar Vishnoi, Managing Director of UP State Cooperative Bank on 19th August 2020. The results have been leaked. Even how many marks an official gained in the interview have also been leaked. With this the UP state cooperative bank is mired in controversy.

Meanwhile, talking to Indian Cooperative UP State Cooperative Bank MD Bhupendra Kumar Vishnoi said, “I am unaware how the result has been leaked and I have no information in this regard. As the list of employees was submitted to us but who leaked it is still not known to me”.

“The list is sent to the posting committee of which I am the member secretary. After collecting the information, I will get back to you”, Vishnoi added.

A selection committee was formed on 30 January 2020. On 29.07.2020 K D Pathak UP Co-operative Bank, General Manager (Finance) was appointed as the members on the selection committee. The interviews of the senior branch managers were taken at the headquarter of UP State Cooperative bank, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh but still the MD is unaware of how the results have been leaked. It’s surprising!
