In order to help the government fight against the coronavirus, Maharashtra based largest urban cooperative of India- Saraswat Cooperative Bank has contributed Rs 1 crore towards the Chief Minister Relief fund on Thursday.
The cheque was personally handed over to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray by the Bank Chairman Gautam Thakur and his team.

Sharing the news with Indian Cooperative through WhatsApp Saraswat Bank wrote, “We have contributed Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister Relief fund for fighting the Covid pandemic”.
Old timers at Saraswat Bank claimed that the Bank has always followed the principle of giving back to society, a part of what it has received. From donations to NGOs to giving jobs to the family members of martyrs of the 26/11 terrorist attack, the Bank has always helped the needy and worthy causes, they asserted.
