Maharashtra State Cooperative (MSC) Bank has contributed Rs 5 crore towards the Chief Minister Relief fund in order to help the government fight against Covid-19 on Tuesday.
The cheque was handed over by the Chairman of Administrative board of MSC Bank Vidyadhar Anaskar to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray at his office in Mumbai.
On the occasion Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab, Minister of State Vishwajit Kadam and bank officials were present.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray thanked the management of Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank for this contribution.
Earlier, the MSC bank employees had donated a cheque of Rs 21.19 lakh towards the CM relief fund from their one day’s salary.
