Uttarakhand based Almora District Central Cooperative Bank’s headquarters has been sealed after a women employee in the accounts department named Lata Tiwari was found to be corona positive. Now other 44 employees employed in the bank have been home- quarantined.
Even the bank’s Chairman Lalit Singh Latwal is in home quarantine.
It is said the woman employee had returned to Almora from Haldwani. Her husband has also tested corona positive. The bank’s headquarters is being sanitized and the health department has taken samples of other employees.
Besides, employees in different branches of the bank are being advised to take necessary preventive measures.
