While the Corporate India is grappling with the aftershock of Covid-19, the fertilizer cooperative IFFCO has been busy beating its own previous records. The co-op titan has sold the highest amount of fertilizer ever in the country in the month of June 2020.
In the first quarter of this financial year IFFCO’s unit not only surpassed their sales production targets in the crisis but also had a spectacular performance doing 86 percent sales through the PoS machines. The sale of water-soluble fertilizer and Sagarika fertilizer is higher by 124 percent and 189 percent respectively.
Congratulating the team in general and IFFCO Marketing Head Yogendra Kumar in particular IFFCO MD tweeted, ” Congratulations to entire marketing team led by @iffcoyogendra for also brilliant performance in PoS Sales which is 86% more than last year for Q1 and sales of #WSF/Speciality #Fertilisers is higher by 124% & #Sagarika is 189% for Q1. Overall very good performance. Keep it up”.
Besides beating its previous records, IFFCO has done the highest ever sale for the month of June 2020 and has also made a new record of surpassing the earlier record of 2015-16.
The IFFCO units- from Aonla to Phulpur have achieved their production targets for the month of June– an achievement that led IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi to congratulating their heads as well as their teams through social media.
The MD tweets, ” Congratulations to #IFFCO #Aonla Unit @icjha_iffco & team as even at this crisis time #corona pandemic, the unit surpassed the production target for the month of #June2020 & despatched #urea fertiliser well in time. Good work on energy saving also. Overall, good performance”.
Similarly, he congratulated the IFFCO Phulpur unit head Mohd Masood Ahmad and his team for their achievements. “Good effort by #IFFCO #Phulpur Unit @mmasood278 & team as at this crisis time of #corona pandemic, the unit produced & despatched #urea fertiliser. The unit nearly achieved the monthly production targets for the month of #June2020”, Awasthi wrote on his twitter wall.
IFFCO’s overseas subsidiary JIFCO has also surpassed the monthly production target of the plant for June 2020. MD congratulated the JIFCO team for the same through a tweet.
