Since the lockdown restrictions have been relaxed to a certain extent, CAMPCO’s procurement drive is returning to normal.
From 6th May, 2020, that is today there will be regular Purchases of White Variety of arecanut at all branches on all days without any restriction in the limit of purchases and without token system, informs the press note issued by the organization.
The Red Variety Arecanut Purchases will commence from 11th May, 2020 in all the regions.
Pepper Purchases too will commence from 11th May, 2020 in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi Districts and in the State of Kerala as well.
CAMPCO thanks the farmers for their cooperation in observing the norms of lockdown and hopes that in future too will they follow the prescribed etiquette during their visits to the branches.
