Media reports say the management of the Kangra Central Cooperative Bank has divided the bank into North and West Circles and the responsibility of both the circles has been entrusted to the higher officials of the bank.

In this regard, the bank management has also recently issued a notification.

It was also decided in the meeting that the headquarters of both the circles will be in Dharamshala. The North Circle consists of Kullu, Banjar, Aani, Baijnath, Palampur, Alampur, Sameerpur, Hamirpur and Galore zones.

Kangra, NagrotaBagwan, Nurpur, Indaura, Dadasiba, Dehra, Amb, Bathu and Una zones are included in the West Circle.

The bank’s senior GM has been given the charge of the West and the second GM the charge of the North Circle.

However, there is no word about why the division has been put through.
