The cooperatively backward state of Jharkhand is now waking up as different districts of the state are planning one thing or the other for strengthening the co-operative movement, reports local media outlets.
East Singhbhum district administration in Jharkhand will establish a cooperative body for the farmers of the district with a view to offering them the appropriate facilities for selling their produce, reports Avenue Mail.
This will enable the farmers to get the right price for their produce as well as help them to acquire knowledge about the latest techniques of farming.
The cooperative organization to be formed will be called ” chamber of farmers”. District officials say this will go a long way in bridging the communication gap between the administration and farmers.
