Media reports say a huge scam involving promotion through fake degrees in Sikar Kendriya Sahakari Bank of Rajasthan has been come to light. Rattled by the development, State Registrar has called for investigation of similar irregularities in cooperative banks across the state.
After receiving complaints, State Registrar ordered a probe in the matter. Investigation found that the bank’s employees have used fake degrees like MSc, IT, MTech and MCA for gaining promotion.
When questioned employees confessed that they have obtained fake degrees to get promotion.
Readers would recall that the bank was found recently indulging in a loan scam which is under investigation. The allegation is that officers have prepared bogus ITR and took loans on bogus documents.
