Arunachal Pradesh deputy chief minister Chowna Mein has met top NABARD officials in order to revive credit flow to state farm sector, reports North East Now.
The state population is largely dependent on agriculture and allied sectors for their livelihood and thus we need help of NABARD, Mr Menin is quoted saying.
He also discussed possibilities of setting up Farmer’s Producer Organisations (FPOs) in the state with the officials.
Besides, the visiting delegation from the state also felt the need for establishing a fishery institute in the state.
