A two minute audio clip is currently viral on social media in which a secretary of a co-operative society in Dappar in Punjab is heard calling husband of a newly-elected sapranch of Bair Majra village names, reports Tribune.
There reports that many people including the local MLA have come out in support of Suresh Singh who was abused and threatened by Ajaib Singh secretary of the cooperative society.
Sources say the incident stems from tension between the SAD-BJP combine and the Congress witnessed in the panchayat polls held recently in the village. Meanwhile, Ajaib Singh has denied allegations leveled against him.
