Co-operative Banks Contract Employees have urged the MP Chief Minister to implement the newly formed contract labour policy, reports Free Press Journal.
Their acting president was quoted as saying contractual clerks and computer operators had been working for many years in district co-operative banks but new permanent recruitments being made will endanger their jobs.
Out of a total 4782 posts vacant in cooperative banks, 1634 new appointments have been made and the government could make a sizable number of contract employees permanent, the acting president urged.
