Police recently arrested a co-op bank woman official for allegedly killing chief executive officer of her co-operative bank after he caught her for misappropriation of funds.
The man killed was chief executive officer, Primary Agriculture Credit Cooperative Bank, Kachanayakanahalli in Bangalore in Karnataka.
The prime accused is Rekha Niranjana Murthy, 27, a cashier in the same bank. Police say Rekha had misappropriated Rs 1.5 lakh.
Police say the CEO was caught on the road, dragged into a eucalyptus grove and beaten to death. All four accused have been remanded to judicial custody.
