An auditor with Rajkot District Milk Co-operative Society in Gujarat was caught red handed taking Rs 30,000 as a bribe in a village of Bhuj taluka, reports Times of India.
Anti-corruption police say the auditor Shaukat Hussein Halari asked for money from president of Sumasar Milk Co-operative Society if he wanted a favorable audit report.
The accused had stayed at Dosabhai Dharamshala in Bhuj where he wanted the president of the society to deliver him the amount, police sources say.
