The national apex sugar cooperatives body National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Ltd (NFCSFL) has pitched for dual pricing of sugar for industrial users and retail consumers, reports PTI.
The apex body argues that if there could be double pricing in electricity and kerosene why not in sugar. They aim to win all-farmers, millers, and consumers, reports PTI.
Representing 262 cooperative sugar mills NFCSFL has suggested sugar rate to be kept at Rs 50-60 per kg for industrial consumer and Rs 30 per kg for retailers.
