IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi who was in Karimnagar in Telangana during his ”connect to farmers” campaign said he would leave no stone unturned to ensure digitalization of cooperatives.
Addressing farmers he said “being the biggest cooperative in the country it’s our duty to meet with the farmers and educate them on how to make idea of cooperative successful. It has to be strong and viable model. Going digital would make it forward-looking and progaressive, he added.
Readers would note that in its Golden Jubilee celebrations IFFCO is making an all-out effort to make farmers aware of the benefits of cashless transactions. It has organized several training camps for the purpose across the states and MD himself in all his yatras ensures such activities are taken up before his eyes.

He visited the headquarters of the leading cooperative bank KDCC bank in Karimnagar and interacted with employees and customers.
Earlier, IFFCO MD visited the capital of Telangana which was his 24th destination. Addressing farmers in Hyderabad he said ” It’s great to see so many farmers and cooperators coming to celebrate golden Jubilee of IFFCO”. More than 1500 farmers attended his programme.
He also felicitated Mrs Sujatha Reddy, wife of our ex-chairman Late Shri Srinivas Reddy at Hyderabad on this occasion.
