Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy has scolded cooperative societies and undertakings in the union territory for their failure to stem the tide of their losses and warned the government would take necessary action, reports Business Standard.
Chief Minister was addressing the 63rd all India Cooperative Week celebrations organised by the Department of Cooperatives.
Narayanasamy said most of the cooperative societies were steeped in corruption and malpractices and his government would not remain a silent spectator.
