AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the district cooperative dairies to procure surplus cow milk from Andhra Pradesh Dairy Development Cooperative Federation (APDDCF), to help the dairy farmers in the state, reports New Indian Express.
Pointing out the same during a meeting with the chairmen and managing directors of district cooperative dairies, the chief minister asked the Krishna, Visakha, Prakasam and Guntur Sangam dairies to procure the surplus cow milk as much as possible.
Naidu asked the Krishna District Milk Cooperative Federation to procure 50,000 litres of cow milk, Prakasam District Federation to get 15,000 litres, Sangam Dairy in Guntur and Visakha Dairy in Visakhapatnam to procure 10,000 litres each from the APDDCF.
He also asked the APDDCF to help the dairy farmers’ cooperative societies in marketing and other aspects.
