In a press release the apex regulator Reserve Bank of India has shifted the task of monitoring of some of the urban cooperative banks from Mumbai to Nagpur.
The UCBs which are being covered by this new office at Nagpur belong to districts such as Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon and Solapur of Maharashtra.
The release read” The Reserve Bank of India has shifted supervision and monitoring of Non-Scheduled Urban Cooperative banks whose head offices are located in Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon and Solapur disctricts from Mumbai to Nagpur with effect from June 07, 2016. “
Facilitating the process of communication the Regulator has also given the office address in Nagpur as well as the designation of the official who should be contacted for any query.
