A high profile meeting of top cooperative leaders is taking place today at the NCUI headquarters in Delhi to chart the course out for the successful planning of the upcoming ICA A-P General Assembly in Delhi later this year.
The meeting is being presided over by NCUI President Chandra Pal Singh. Balu Aiyer, the Regional Director of ICA along with representatives of all the major cooperative federations are going to participate.
Talking to Indian Cooperative on phone from Jhansi NCUI President Chandra Pal said”we have invited MDs and Chairmen of member cooperative organizations for a meeting; we need their support in this endeavour”.
Confirming his participation Mr Tarun Bhargava DGM Cooperative Relation at IFFCO said” yes I would be there; the letter was addressed to our respected MD sahib and he has instructed me to attend the same”, added Mr Bhargava pointing out a new synergy developing between different cooperatives.
Earlier, talking to Indian Cooperative NCUI President Mr Yadav said the event would be memorable for foreign delegates as they could not but be wowed by Indian hospitality; he crackled with enthusiasm.
Besides the five-star facilities being offered to guests, Chandra Pal aims to take care of them with a unique personal touch for which Indians are famous. He was also appreciative of the support being offered by the fellow cooperators to make it a huge success. The Tuesday meeting is a step in that direction.
Chandra Pal Singh Yadav who wishes to have the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the event has enlisted the support of Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh in this regard.
Readers would note that the ICA A-P General Assembly is scheduled for November 2016 in N Delhi.
