National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) is holding a one day Seminar/interactive session in collaboration with leading Israeli Agricultural Project Companies and Experts under the aegis of Trade & Economic Mission of the Embassy of Israel, New Delhi on Friday, 12th February 2016 from 09:30 AM onwards in the Committee Room Alpha, NCUI Auditorium Complex (2nd Floor).
The objective of this event is to showcase the sustainable and commercial agricultural practices, marketing and animal husbandry by the Israeli delegates and explore the possibility of transferring the appropriate practices and technologies particularly in the areas of water conservation, soil management, dairy, value-chain and commercial agricultural on sustainable basis.

Readers would note that under the auspices of Indo-Israel Agricultural Project (IIAP) agreements for agricultural partnership have been signed and 20 Centres of Excellence in Agriculture have been set up in Haryana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab where farmers / agriculturists have been deriving increased production /productivity, generating better financial returns on their investment.
