Addressing a seminar on crop in Uttar Pradesh Pradeshik Cooperative Federation (PCF), Chairman, Aditya Yadav said over 60 percent of Indians eke out their living from agriculture. Yet thousands of crores of tonnes of wheat are imported from other countries, he said.

Addressing the farmers’ delegation, he said farmers should use new technology to increase their production. He informed that through E-Baazar IFFCO will provide tractors and agriculture inputs to farmers at reasonable rates and also provide training in new techniques of agriculture, Aditya Yadav remarked. Yadav is also on Board of IFFCO.

Besides, IFFCO Joint General Manager Yogendra Kumar who was also present on the occasion said farmers could use green urea to increase their production.

The programme was attended by IFFCO State Marketing Manager, Rishipal, agriculture scientist, Dr. Subhash Singh, Dr. Bhupendra Singh, scores of farmers and others.
