Nearly 2,000 Cooperative Group Housing Societies in Delhi will now be able to access MLA Local Areal Development Fund (MLALADS) for developmental works inside their premises, informs DNA.
This has come after AAP and BJP agreed to a resolution to allow use of development funds of MLAs in these housing societies.
This has come as a big relief to the Federation of Rohini Co-Operative Group Housing Societies (FRCGHS), which had been fighting for two decades to allow use of MLALADS for development works inside their societies. The Federation has 172 group housing societies as its members.
