The fertilizer cooperative giant IFFCO has again bagged a number of awards during the three day FAI Annual Seminar being held Delhi from December 2-4. Union Minster Shri Ananth Kumar gave these awards in various categories for the best performing industries and individuals.
Geared to the theme “unlocking potential of the fertilizer Sector” the Seminar is discussing critical issues such as reforms in fertilizer policies, soil health enhancement, improving viability of fertilizer production, etc.
On the first day of the seminar, awards were distributed with the IFFCO garnering a major chunk of them. While the IFFCO Phulpur won award for environmental protection the IFFCO Kandla team won the technical innovation award.
Mentioning the Seminar IFFCO MD Dr. U S Awasthi tweeted on Wednesday “Participating in 51st #FAI Annual Seminar at #AshokaHotel. Happy to share that #IFFCO has many awards.”
A Roy the Marketing Director at IFFCO won Shriram award prompting IFFCO MD to tweet”Congrats @Arabinda50 receiving #ShriramAward Mktg #FAIAward 4 article “Direct Fertiliser Subsidy 2 Farmers”.
The PR team of IFFCO led by Harshendra Verdhan also was declared winning the runner-up award for the best video film. MR Patel and Yogendra Kumar were awarded for applications of ICT in agriculture.
Roy and his team also won the FAI award for an article dealing with fertilizer management in Rabi crops. While IFFCO Joint MD Rakesh Kapur is FAI’s Chairman, Satish Chandra is its Director General.
