Cooperative officials in Nasik district in Maharashtra will soon start reviewing audits of co-operative institutes across the district, says Times of India.
The review meeting which takes place at the office of the Nashik District Central Co-operative Bank in the city is likely to cover especially those cooperative institutes that were not covered in the October meeting.
It is mandatory for co-operative institutes to appoint auditor at the Annual General Meeting latest by September 30 to get their accounts audited for the current fiscal. This is to be done as per provisions under the Maharashtra Co-operative Institutes Act 81.
