The Tamil Nadu Cooperative Bank Employees’ Association urged the State Government to fill 6,000 vacancies in the cooperative banks without further delay, Hindu reports.
Non-filling of the vacancies has a telling effect on day-to-day administration, association general secretary G.S. Balakrishnan told media persons.
Balakrishnan said the State Government must provide Rs. 5,000 as monthly pension to every retiree.
