I have had purchased 1BHK flat in co-operative housing society in 2004 from the builder, took possession in 2004 only ,however after a year we came to know there was Double LIC loan on the flat by the builder. We complained to the builder, builder gave us another flat which is in another wing but 2BHK, and builder said to pay the balance amount 3:50 lacks for 2BHK flat ,after we get Housing loan .
Builder gave us the Title clear certificate for 2bhk flat , after sometime Society was formed took over from builder . and society started demanding money ,I tired many banks to get housing loan unfortunately we dint get any success from any bank because we dint have CC and OC for the wing above 2nd floor and we reside at 6th floor its a 7 story building with 3 wings.
However we still managed paying to the society from personal loan 3:50 lacks principal amt 2yrs back, society is demanding interest on the amount for delayed payment which is another 4lacks
Status of the wing is we still don’t have CC and OC for the wing above 2nd floor.
I still don’t have share certificate of the flat
Society took over the 1BHK Flat from Us, which we surrendered to the society.
My question to you is sir am i liable to pay the interest amount to the society?
Please help me and guide me sir it has caused lots of stress to me and to my family.

It appears you are not seeing bigger problem with the flat; much bigger than interest on late payment which is not wrong in any case. You are stating in a flat which could not be occupied without CC and OCC.
