Karnataka cooperation minister H.S. Mahadeva Prasad has announced premium reduction on the Yeshawini health insurance for urban cooperative society members.
The amount has been cut from Rs 1,010 to Rs. 710. Members hailing from the vulnerable sections would have to pay a measly Rs. 510 as per the revised premium.
The members insured under the scheme could avail themselves of medical help upto Rs. 2 lakh.
The scheme seeks to target medical assistance towards members working with cooperative societies in urban areas in Karnataka.
Please may be clarified that it is members of urban cooperative societies and not urban cooperative banks.
