Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Singh met with an accident in Gulmarg but luckily he is safe. The incident took place during Mr Singh’s Srinagar visit recently.
Talking to Indian Cooperative the young Mr Singh narrated the incident and said that he fell in a dig about nine feet deep leading to damage to his limbs and ligaments.
But he hid the fact from the cooperative circle and went ahead with his job without letting anyone know about it. “I would receive phone calls and answer mails without telling the sender about my condition”, a recuperating Singh confided with Indian Cooperative.
Sunil Singh who fought a protracted battle with the state government on the issue of supremacy over apex marketing cooperative federation Biscomaun is also handling poll-related issues for RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.
With improving RJD chances in the Lok Sabha polls in the wake of JDU BJP split, Mr Singh claimed at least 14 seats for RJD-Congress combine.
“I would soon throw myself physically into cooperative works once Doctors give me go ahead signal”, Singh said. Singh is also a Governing Council member of NCUI as well as on the board of Kribhco.
