Nabard’s adverse report on the Goa State Cooperative Bank has triggered a fierce response from the state Chief Minister.

Manohar Parikar has called upon the governing board of the bank to submit their resignation.

A source close to the Goa govt says Chief Minister contemplates replacing the board by a govt. official.

Observers say the present Goa chief minister is strict and morally upstanding and therefore his tough stand against the  prevailing mismanagement in CM takes rein of Goa State Coop bank the cooperative sector in the state is par for the course.
