IFFCO has won against Hindalco Industries in the court.  The Delhi High Court recently ruled that Hindalco’s refusal to accept the arbitral award is untenable.

The dispute had arisen when IFFCO said it was not receiving supply of phosphoric acid from Hindalco as per the MOU.

The Hindalco counter-accused that IFFCO was not abiding by the MOU.

The matter was referred to a three member tribunal that had given a decision in favour of IFFCO.

The high court upholding the tribunal’s view marks IFFCO’s legal win over the Hindalco Industries.
